Great, real kids and a mom in action. Do some more if you have time, I like them.
Have you tried Thia peanut butter sauce on brown rice (noodles). Soy sauce, peanut butter, GARLIC and maybe a little lemon and or a little ginger if you like it as well as you like garlic, soy sauce and peanut butter. I don’t. Boy, it taste good………….
Hi to your kids from the oldest alphabet person.
Awesome! Great cooking tips (and background music)!
I noticed that your camera man didn’t show that you had on your swimming goggles when you were cutting that onion. Hey !! Another great idea !! Why not patent that sauteing onion smell, put it in an aerosol can – then you can spray it around any ole time – the gang will think you are fixin’ din din but really, YOU are off to your bed to catch some desperately needed wink and blink and nod. heheheheh.
This is great! You have some mad knife skillz, girl. More, more, more, please!
This is great! R. watched it spellbound, then asked to see it again. I better hide the knives. I think he’s still a little young to start sauteeing onions.
Thanks, everyone! It was a really fun project–with more episodes to follow in the coming months. I’m grateful to the creative consultants/fellow artists Jennifer Hoyt Tidwell and Billy Hunt for their great counsel and guidance for this project and others on the Coconut Girl.
I love this! Keep doing it!
This is fantastic Whitney!
Great video! L and I watched it together! She is ready to start cooking ~ thanks for the tips.
Whit– You look wonderful! I always remember your tip that you shared when we were getting ready for our 20th high school reunion. Remember? Saute an onion before company comes over. Since then, I think of you, kid you not, every time I saute an onion.
I hope the video was as much fun to make as it was to watch–the best part was just seeing you again after so long. How about showing us how to put together some sauce that half the time goes wrong?
Great video! You have me inspired to stop being so afraid of cooking. Step one: learn to cut an onion in less than 5 minutes. Looking forward to more installments 🙂
