1. Why a Wheely Garden Cart?
Because it’s January. And next comes February. You need a Wheely Garden Cart!
2. How do I use it?
Pull it with your hand. Everywhere you go. All day. You’ll feel better.
3. How do I make one?
Go to a nursery. Walk around in the almost-empty greenhouses until you find the tables of houseplants. Breathe in the warm air. Pick out several different plants, some with blooms, some with beautiful foliage. Avoid ones with sharp pointy leaves. If you find a plant you especially like, buy two. Bring them home. Put them on something with wheels. Show everyone how great your cart is.
4. Can I talk to my Wheely Garden Cart?
Oh sure. It’s winter. You can talk to the birds out the window, too.
5. Can I keep using my cart in the spring or summer?
Certainly. Augment your plant collection with cut flowers and fresh vegetables from your yard or local farmer’s market.
The mailman brings, almost daily, seed catalogues for us – dreamers who finally have put away the tinsel and ribbons from Christmas and are looking down that long, tunnel of January, February, March. THIS year, say we, there is going to be a GLORIOUS garden that starts very early – in the starter flats, under grow lights and will stretche ALL the way into early October (almost back to Christmas again). The seed packets arrive in the mail – seeds like tiny little treasure chests, full of hope, promise and offering rebirth. But after a while, cabin fever returns, anyway – WE NEED HELP RIGHT NOW !! What a great idea for the plant trolley – w/garden of Lilliputian delight !! Sweet dirt smells !! Moisty !! GREEN shoots and leaves !! innocent and glorious.
